Experience the best of nature and heritage in one unhurried, unforgettable day.

Begin your morning with a peaceful walk through Kamikochi’s alpine beauty—quiet trails, snow-capped peaks, and crystal-clear streams. In the afternoon, explore Matsumoto Castle, Japan’s oldest original wooden fortress. Perfect for small groups, this tour blends mountain stillness with cultural depth.

✅ Loop walk from Kappa Bridge to Taisho Pond via Tashiro Bridge
✅ Forest and riverside paths through alpine marshlands
✅ Round-trip van transport from Matsumoto Station included
✅ Fast-track entry to Matsumoto Castle included
✅ Small group size for a relaxed, personal experience
✅ Easy access from Tokyo or Nagano
✅ Guided by a friendly English-speaking local

Start your day with a 2.5 to 3-hour loop walk—beginning at Kappa Bridge, following the riverside trail to Taisho Pond, and returning via Tashiro Bridge along the opposite bank.

Alpine forests, marshlands, and shimmering streams unfold gently as you walk, far from the crowds and rich in sensory detail.
Many guests bring a simple lunch to enjoy during the walk—on a riverside bench or under the trees. Cafés near Kappa Bridge can be crowded, so we recommend something light and portable.

This tour takes you directly into central Kamikochi by van—no transfers, no waiting in line.
Public buses are available but often involve long waits, and rental cars are not permitted.
Compared to large group tours or shuttle buses, you’ll arrive earlier, faster, and closer to the heart of the park—making the most of Kamikochi’s rare morning stillness.

Afterward, visit Matsumoto Castle with pre-booked entry—no waiting necessary.
